This month in Oregon FBLA, we were ecstatic to attend the Oregon Leadership Institute (OLI) in Bend. FBLA - along with other CTSOs such as DECA, FCCLA, HOSA, and SkillsUSA - was proud to give a warm welcome to our members when they came through the doors of the convention center. The day was filled with the Grand Opening Session and two rounds of workshops featuring amazing presenters to help us reimagine our leadership potential. Up next, members attended the FBLA Opening Session were our members learned about the newly revamped Oregon FBLA photo and video challenge, new programs and state-wide initiatives, and much more.
This was soon followed by a delicious etiquette dinner for all members to attend. It was a fantastic opportunity for FBLA members to network and improve their etiquette skills. On the second, and final, day of OLI, your very own FBLA State Officers showcased their skills in the “Imagination Station” workshop where they took you through the minds of great and successful individuals throughout history. Soon afterwards, members participated in the Closing Session, featuring keynote speaker, Peyton Holland, who shared his story of how he came involved with his CTSO.
